Women’s lives – Rachel Corrie.

It has been over 21 years and a week since you were murdered in Rafah.

I had never seen that photo of you, right in front of the grader that literally squashed you to your death, till about 2 weeks ago!

My heart broke!

I think about you a lot; to start with, you would be 50 years old now, girl!

Take a moment to think about the life, you would have lived by now!

“They” said it was “an accident”, crushing you to death.

But we all know better by now, given the years that have gone by!

RAFAH REFUGEE CAMP, GAZA STRIP – MARCH 5: American peace activist Rachel Corrie, 23, speaks during a mock trial of U.S. President George W. Bush March 5, 2003 in Rafah refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. Corrie was killed March 16, 2003 when an Israeli bulldozer ran her over and buried her in sand as she tried to stop it from destroying a Palestinian house in the Rafah refugee camp. You stood your ground along your colleagues, defending the right to ownership of a home by a Palestine family.

They must be so proud of you!

Oh wait; you had a plan to set up a sister program to be run in Rafah and in Olympia, right?

I think we can make that plan come to life, right?

We will never stop loving you, Rachel.

I will never stop thinking about you and all the great work you did, fighting back that horrible system of oppression.

You are a great source of inspiration to me, my love.
