And on their S.W.A.T teams give it their 200%
I LOVE THE WAY I AM MADE TO WEAR POLICING OFFICERS’ SHOES EVERY STEP OF THE WAY
For every single incident or crime or offence that is noticed, committed, booked, investigated and solved
Feels like you are a part of the whole thing
I LOVE HOW EVERY ONE ON THE “A-TEAM” PLAYS THEIR PART TO THEIR VERY BEST
It all starts with the PT aka Physical Training and practice drills
Because once you are in the field, your team-mates rely on you to do their jobs without having to look sideways for their own safety
I LOVE THE HI-TECH
Have you seen the Field Command-Centre?
It literally has every single gadget you can think of to combat crime
I LOVE THE BIG BOND CREATED AMONGST OFFICERS AND CIVILIANS ON THE SHOW
For every end of the day requires officers to get back home or wherever they call home
And simply get to be people that live and are off-duty just like anybody else
I LOVE HOW HUMAN THE SHOW IS
Sure, it is not perfect all the time
But it surely gets many more things right than many other shows I have watched or watch
I LOVE HOW JUSTICE AND CLOSURE ARE BROUGHT ABOUT IN EVERY SINGLE CASE HANDLED
No matter how long it takes or what happens
Everybody gets served the dish they “prepared” for
At least, that’s what Captain Cortez and Sergeant Hondo would want, right?
I LOVE HOW THE TEAM SERVES PEOPLE OF ALL COLOUR
In many countries, as we all know, the popo don’t serve people that are different from their colour
But in this community of LA, “we all got the same right just like any other American citizen”
I LOVE HOW PROGRESSIVE THE SHOW IS
At the end of the day, it don’t really matter where you are from, your sexual identity, the religion and beliefs you keep up with, where you crash when all this is over, your past, the bureaucracy and formal procedure…..your competence and hunger comes first
Do your job and do it right
MOST OF ALL, I LOVE THAT YOU ARE SPECIAL
Hicks, Cortez, Hondo and the rest of the team including the District Attorney clash heads as they find ways to ease your pain and suffering
Therefore, treating your case as a special one and you as special….with as little damage done as possible and restoring as much joy as possible, you know!
