Fun fact 1: Jim Caviezel was supposed to be the lead on this one….yeah, I mean, Bravo 1! He opted out at the last minute because of reasons best known to him and that’s how David Boreanaz came to be the Master Chief on this one. I hope you remember Jim from The Passion of the Christ and Person Of Interest!
Fun fact 2: I lllooovveedddd the fighting scenes of this episode in season 2, most especially in the chapel against Doza. So slick and truly offensive!
Fun fact 3: I strongly believe I have watched Trent and Brock speak more in this season than they did in the first one!
Aaahhhh….I kid you not…..season 2 has been far more exciting, personal and entertaining than season 1
That’s just my thought….don’t simply take my word for it….better watch it all yourself
From the moment Ray was sent to teach a class of upcoming bravos as a result of his actions done last season where a young innocent boy died out of his carelessness
To Jason losing Alana to an accident and how he spiralled around it
To Sunny and Davis gracing us with Savis….yeah, it’s been our thing here….but down on the low….we don’t want to raise any alarm to the brass
To Davis leaving Bravo team to join the Marine Core
To Clay being hit and taking that moment off to learn more about himself and his environment
All the way to losing Adam while on duty in India
Mandy losing her job and seat with Bravo team
Bravo team redeeming themselves when it did matter the most
…..it’s been a lot
Well, everybody has been put to the test to see who comes out of the fire the least burnt
From faith to leadership to personal beliefs to grit to hope to resilience to bonds and ties
Jason’s leadership skills and style, for example has been in question all the way….from his superiors, his team-mates, his family and to even himself
It got to a point where he barely knew where his left was from the right
Ray’s sense of self-assessment had him tip-toeing around for answers to questions that he well knew how to answer to
Remember the time in Guam….yyeeaahh, everything just wasn’t connecting as usual for him
Guess we all have that moment
I wonder what happened to Davis….where and when did she come up with this idea of leaving Bravo team?
I can as sure as hell tell you ever since she left; they just dropped down further into the sink-hole
As Chief Harrington said before, “you just don’t know how to quit. It’s not in your skill-set”.
Been a lovely 22 episodes of SEAL action…..can’t wait for season 3!
Bravo team out.
