Always laughing, living, loving and thinking about food. I'm so deeply concerned about health, young people, food and psychology.
Reggae gets me on another level with the way I see life and I enjoy reading.
I guess I’m not bringing enough awareness and signs. It can be so hard to do this, especially when you’ve been through it yourself and know those who’d gone through it personally
I stand up for myself and others when the need arises. Fortunately, it’s not something I’ve had to deal with directly often. Many things happen behind closed doors so people are unaware.
I love that you’re sharing this. Violence against women is still an epidemic-scale problem in the world.
I think one of the most important and easiest things we can do is teach our sons how to treat women. My husband and I both did that through our words and our actions with our son.
I totally agree with Claudia. I have 3 boys and I think that the most important thing is to raise them well enough to know how to properly treat women.
As a mother of twin girls, this is something that scares me so much and pray that it is not something that my girls go through. I definitely should be doing more to help stop this.
This is such an important topic to continue speaking up about! Education is key to prevention, and we must not stop educating the masses.
This post raises such an important point. The call to action is powerful, reminding us all that change starts with awareness and taking responsibility. Definitely a conversation worth continuing.
This post raises awareness for everyone not only for women out there but also for men that wee all need knowledge and share to everyone that today is the right time to end the violence against women and girls out there!
I love this post! We have a program here in our state that helps to protect women and girls against violence. I’m sure I could do more, but I will say, I am not the one to just sit back and not do anything. I will and have spoken up for women who has been in violent situations.
Well, this sure makes us reflect on our own actions—or inactions. But the truth is every little bit counts. We often think change is too big to tackle by one, but it adds up.
I always try to teach my daughter about violence and tell her to keep fighting back when somebody tries to mess around with her in school. I think the violence against girls and women only happens when there’s a lack of awareness.
Violence against women is a crucial topic. I think I don’t do much to end it. I`m just too tired these days.
Thank you for sharing this short but impactful post! It’s a powerful reminder that we all have a role to play in advocating for the safety and equality of women and girls worldwide
It’s a powerful question that makes you pause and think. I’ll definitely be looking into ways I can get more involved to support and protect women and girls in my community.
This is something we should all be thinking about, and I am sure that it is taking place much more than we realize. It is good to focus on advocacy for this cause.
