Always laughing, living, loving and thinking about food. I'm so deeply concerned about health, young people, food and psychology.
Reggae gets me on another level with the way I see life and I enjoy reading.
Hi Mr. Michael, hope you’re well. I don’t do drugs myself (at least I’m not aware of it), but from what I read from research papers is that it’s mostly because of boredom. Instead of reaching out to people and make connections, people fight this boredom by turning to drugs and alcohol. Of course, it can also be the case to escape certain realities, or simply just for fun. I wonder what others’ reasons are.
Hhhhhmmmmm….well, I hope to hear more of them from the readers here, Chen! Thank you for sharing. ?❤️?✊?
Depends on the drugs. Medication, addiction or socializing??? But one should not abuse drugs
Hhhmmmm….I say drugs in general….right from ordinary leaves to the meth itself….. ?❤️?✊?
I say Don’t DO Drugs!!!
Aaaahhhhhh….alright then! Thank you for sharing. ?❤️?✊?
Thanks for coming up with this! I hope this goes viral and make someone reevaluate their values
Oooh yeah, Debby! I’ll keep pushing it! Thank you for appreciating. ?❤️?✊?
Its really helpful information . Thanks for sharing
Aaaahhhhh….you’re welcome, Juna! ?❤️?✊?
I’ve never touched an illegal drug, but I have had family members who suffered from addiction. It cost them their families and eventually it cost them their lives.
Aaaawwww…. I’m so sorry to hear that, Kristy! ?❤️?
This was certainly an interesting read. Thanks for sharing your input on a controversial topic!
?? you’re welcome.
Definitely don’t do drugs. With the exception of medication. But even then some people can get addicted if not careful. These two commercials were really popular here in the United Sates in the late 1980s. haha, I totally remember seeing them on tv. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSFaDeRpSHA
Hihi….let me check them out.
Funny. This was always a rhetorical question in my world. “Why do drugs?” Because it would be crazy to! But, you’d always have the few that counter, “Why NOT?”
Everyone has their own reasons, and everyone is affected uniquely. Addiction is not a guarantee, but is based on factors like genetic disposition, tolerance, and habits. Malcolm Gladwell writes some interesting stuff about addiction in his book, “The Tipping Point.”
Anyway, “why do drugs?” NOT to punish yourself. NOT to escape your life situation which will be waiting for you when you come off your trip. Maybe to enhance your experience with friends, or to create a shared experience. That might be a decent reason.
???? maybe! I love that you have shared your perspective.
I don’t do drugs because I made a promise to God a long time ago that I wouldn’t. I keep my body free of tobacco, alcohol, and drugs. The only kind of drug use I would consider is medical marijuana for my fibromyalgia.
???? aaahhhh….that’s nice to know, Leslie!
I’ve never used any illegal drugs, but I know what it’s like to have your life affected negativity by a drug user. It’s hard, it’s unfair, and it’s sad! Knowing that was enough to keep me away from them!
???? I’m glad to hear this, Monica!
You are right, whats the point in doing drugs?
???? well, there has to be a reason, right?
I think it depends. I know a lot of research is happening at the moment on treating depression and other mental illnesses with mushrooms… I definitely believe that a lot of the drugs that are natural plants and fungi have medicinal properties that we shouldn’t ignore as a possibility in science and medicine.
Come to ? of it, you have a very strong point! Mushrooms have huge benefits but there is so far, very little to say about them being drugs.
Thank you for sharing such an impressive blog post. I’ll share it with some of my friends.
???? thank you, in advance!
I deffo say a big NO to drugs. It is a no, no and no for sure in our house
Aaahhh…alright!
Such an informative post – thanks so much for sharing.
?? you’re welcome.
I don’t do drugs or drink. Except for prescription medication when I have a Graves Disease flare up. So I really have nothing to offer on the subject.
Aaaahhhh….that’s alright. You actually leave us something to think about.
i don’t do illegal drugs. everything i take is by a script. i’m pretty boring, then again i have a lot wrong with me when it comes to my health so i can’t really go about doing a bunch of other things.
Aaaahhhh….alright Katrina! It’s good to know.
There are so many people who become addicts. It can be a tough road to take.
Oh yyeeaaahhhh….it’s so sad! The pain and anguish one goes through.
I was always scared to do any drugs so it was never appealing to me. So many factors to consider and consequences that it’s best to think twice about it.
Aaahhhh….alright then! I’m glad to hear this.
Recreational drugs are the road to addiction and dependency. We all need to be vigilant about our exposure to drugs. Some start quite innocently.
?? yyeeaaahhh…that’s exactly how I started!
