Women’s lives – Drew Dixon.

Anha, this is a very special blog post.

It will be short but one I highly recommend is that you read so slowly and let the music in there, guide you and your life!

Today on our series that touches women’s lives, we have somebody so special to me.

I only got to know recently what her name is.

Drew Dixon, my people!

I hope you love some music because Drew here really did get us some good tracks that we will live with forever.

Have you listened to what many people refer to as, “the greatest love song in hip-hop”?

I’m talking about that 1995 massive hit remix done by Method Man and Mary J. Blige titled “All I need”!

How my girl Drew’s name was omitted from the credits of this big deal, is something you must watch for yourself, On the Record”!

PopSugar puts it so well,

“At the height of Dixon’s burgeoning career in the ’90s, she oversaw the recording of several hit records from Whitney Houston (“My Love Is Your Love”), Aretha Franklin (“A Rose Is Still a Rose”), Brandy and Monica (“The Boy Is Mine”), Deborah Cox (“Nobody’s Supposed to Be Here”), Carlos Santana (“Maria Maria”)…”

It is such a shame that we lost your touch and brilliance on music.

Sometimes, I sit back listening to some hip-hop records and ask myself, “what couldn’t Drew do to this track”?

I was so happy knowing that our girl is back in the world of music, a place and world she once loved so much.

Look here,

“During her career in the music industry, she oversaw the recording of hit records with Carlos Santana, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Monica, Brandy, Deborah Cox, Method Man, Q-Tip, Brand Nubian, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Estelle, Kanye West and more”.

I look forward to digesting her latest projects.

I see you, Drew.

I listen to you and believe you.

I love you, Drew Dixon.
