Sadness on the dancefloor!

I have been listening to Dawn Penn’s “You don’t love me”.

This is the dancehall version of the song I am talking about and it’s chorus really struck me,

“No No No, You don’t love me and I know now”!

It’s a great song to listen to and dance to, on the dance floor, right?

My problem is that it paints a picture of sadness on the dance floor, in my mind.

I want you to picture yourself in the shoes of Dawn, in that moment, on the dance floor or even outside the dancehall.

After having found out where you stand in somebody’s heart and life

How would you be feeling?

Would you sing and dance your heart out, like she did, with a lot of sadness?
