Have you heard of “911”?

I’m talking about the show where they pretty much do the same thing like the “118” does!

Where we have had the privilege of moving to every emergency with Captain Nash and his team, for 3 years now…

Well now, please welcome a sibling station or should I say, sibling show?

One that spun off 911 called, “9-1-1; Lone Star”!!!

9-1-1: LONE STAR: L-R: Julian Works as Mateo Chavez, Ronen Rubenstein as T.K. Strand, Jim Paarack as Judd Ryder, Sierra McClain as Grace Ryder, Liv Tyler as Michelle Watts, Rob Lowe as Owen Strand, Rafael Silva as Carlos Reyes, Brian Michael Smith as Paul Strickland and Natacha Karam as Marjan Marwani in 9-1-1: LONE STAR, debuting in a special two-night series premiere Sunday, Jan. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET LIVE to all Time Zones), following the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME; and Monday, Jan. 20 (9:00-10:00pm PM ET/PT) on FOX. ©2019 Fox Media LLC. CR: FOX.

This station is based in Austin, Texas

It’s led by Captain Owen Strand.

Talk of somebody that got themselves in an “impossible situation” and has managed to do so well, so far.

Let’s shed a little light onto that…

His story is that he survived the 9/11 attacks

Not just as an individual but as a member of an entire fire station that passed on, in that rescue.

He decided to leave New York and head out with his son to Texas, where he’s been assigned to lead back up a station that has previously lost many of it’s colleagues in a fire-rescue mission that went horribly wrong!

That’s how he’s landed at this station of “his” now…famously filled with lone stars. We’ll shed some light on that shortly.

When we say “lone stars”, we mean each member of this house has a very unique ability that Captain Strand identified in them, that he wants to work with.

He personally set up all the interviews and chats with each individual he works with, on his team!

Marjan…let’s start with her. She’s what you can call, “a daredevil”.

She’ll do whatever she has to do, to save the day and thereafter, ask if anybody caught it all, on camera. Wanna know why?

She has to upload that to her Instagram!!!

Now, that’s a girl with some dope style!

Paul is what you can call the “detector” of this house.

Nothing ever goes past him without his notice of it.

He says it’s a skill he has had to nurture in him, out of his identity as a trans-gender man!

He approaches everything before it can approach him.

Good hunter, isn’t he?

Probie….is just what you need, when you need every single detail.

He pays exceptional attention to every detail about something and every situation before him…even situations where he is sure that no one will come looking!

He is that focused on the job, even when he doesn’t look the part!

Judd Ryder….came with a lot of luck and recommendations and passion, too.

Remember when we said that Captain Strand came into a house that had just lost so many of it’s people? Well….

Judd is the only one that survived in his old house of 20 years and came back to enlist, for the house that is being put together!

Whatever is going to happen here, he has probably seen it all before!

Gwyneth is fully introduced to us, this year, as Captain Strand’s ex-wife.

She, with Owen, gave birth to “TK”…(you’ll be meeting him shortly) and because of COVID-19, she has come down to Texas all the way from DC, to be with her two “boys”.

I get the feeling that her presence in Texas will be felt in every single corner, street, alley and valley!

TK is Captain Strand’s son and a firefighter, in this house, too!

I see you flinching your face at that but yeah, I guess the rules of firefighting and rescue here allow it.

I don’t know of a better mobiliser in this house than TK! I could be biased….you’ll have to tell me what you think of him!

Officer Carlos is the lead cop we work with at Austin Police.

There are those special cases or days where we shall need the guidance of the cops and their direct observation as we save lives and this is where he directly comes in.

Besides that, we love the sound of “Tarlos” rolling off our tongues and eyes!

Grace Ryder is our direct contact at the 911 call-centre.

Her way with words is unmatched, I must say! She always does talk people out of any situation…even with her husband, Judd!

She receives the pleas of help and attention and in turn, points us to where we need to go and do what!

Captain Vega Tommy….after 10 years out of service, is back to doing what she’s very good at…saving lives on the go!

We are going to work with her, this year, because Captain Michelle Blake left us, to follow her passion in mental health!

Judd tells us she’s the best in the whole of Texas…

I can’t wait to see her in action!

Charles is Captain Vega’s husband. We don’t yet got their whole story as to how they both got to be stay-home parents to their girls but they are doing a fantastic job, so far!

He is the “super-glue” of the family.

I love him already!

What do you make of him?

Paramedic Rosewater has been with us since last year,

Under the stewardship of Captain Blake and has done so well, for himself, so far.

If there’s anyone that will ask the difficult questions besides Judd, it will be him!

I miss him already!!!

Paramedic Gillian is Rosewater’s colleague.

If there’s somebody that will get the house laughing in small circles or as a whole, she could do it.

She always has a story, from the past, to tell!

Who wouldn’t love a medic, like that, to treat them and keep them relaxed, in those difficult moments?

Captain Michelle Blake was with us, last year and I must say

She was a rock star, just like Captain Vega said.

She doesn’t look the part of a medic but she’s one of the very best in the whole county!

You won’t regret being in her care!

There….

I hope I have introduced you to all the lone stars here!
