Dear organisation,
Before you make your presence on social media seem like it has to go through many boardroom approvals, remember that it is social media.
That word βsocialβ means something, in this world of ours.
If you are not ready to be βsocialβ on social media, then you have no business with us. Please stick to your boardroom whiteboard and public relations office.

For us, we converse on social media just like when we are offline.
We strongly refuse that approval we are supposed to wait for, from the people that sit on the board, concerning our conversations.

Please remember to
Converse on social media just like when you’re offline!
Thank you!

Always laughing, living, loving and thinking about food. I'm so deeply concerned about health, young people, food and psychology.
Reggae gets me on another level with the way I see life and I enjoy reading.
Haahaahahhaa. You find that even what is to be posted should go thru an approval process.
Good guidance

This is a good point! I post on my personal social media accounts differently than I do my business because I sometimes think too much about it.

I think this is an excellent point. I think it’s important for your business’s social media presence to connect with people, not just spew out information.
ππΏπ
You make an excellent point here but honestly, I feel like I cannot do it. Everything is different online.
π©π©π© but why not, Brianne?
Such an amazing article to ponder about. This will makes social media different and pure innovation! Loved it!
ππΏπ
I try to present myself online just as I would offline! It can be difficult if you’re meeting people for the first time, but I’ve found I’ve become more comfortable with it!
ππΏπ
Great point that more company social media accounts should take into consideration.
ππΏπ
This is very true. Speaking to followers on social media will definitely make them gain trust and believe in what you believe (of course if it’s nothing that can hurt others). Great tip!
ππΏπ
I feel like I am more G rated on my social channels.
ππ
I feel like I don’t focus on social media a lot these days. But I used to converse a lot before.
πππΏ
This is true I absolutely agree with this, although itβs hard at first but thereβs a lot of ways to be more social in social media!
πππΏ
I don’t engage much in a conversation on social media. I just find it too unauthentic these days.
π³π³ really?
I agree with you that yes, we should converse on social media just like when we’re offline. The basic principles of communication still apply whether offline or online.

This is so true and such food for thought! People really seem to do things on social media that they wouldn’t say to someone’s face. Seems like people really lack decency on social media lately.
π©π©
I agree. We should talk to people virtually the same way we do in real life.
Yyeeessss! Thank you.
Being in social media both has a lot of pros and cons for me, this is something to think about indeed!
ππ
You made a huge point! And don’t forget that ee should use social media properly, and responsibly.
ππΏπ
Lmbo this is funny. Even if itβs unconsciously lots of people try to make social media as perfect as possible instead of βrealβ.
π©π©π©
Such a funny post but so true though. Some people have a hard time disengaging from social life
π©π©π©
It’s a great tip to keep in mind and it’s much better to start talking on social media when you’re offline so you get the hang of it and the people who met you online first won’t have that much of a whiplash.
