Can you believe that my national ID expired?
What does that even mean?
Does it mean that once my ID expires, my belongingness to the lands also expires?

Does your national ID expire, too?

Always laughing, living, loving and thinking about food. I'm so deeply concerned about health, young people, food and psychology.
Reggae gets me on another level with the way I see life and I enjoy reading.
It means u get back to the authorities to confirm you

Keeping current on all documents is tough. Thereβs passports, Real IDs in the US, global entry cards – keeping them all straight and current can be a feat! Iβm gonna go check them now!
ππ right?!
That’s an interesting thought. However you probably should get that resolved and updated if you need to use it!

I never thought much about this. We have our driver’s license, and that does expire meaning you aren’t legal to drive on the roads. But my US citizenship can be shown by my birth certificate which has no expiration.
πππΏ
I never thought of things like this but now it makes sense. Like now I also ask the question why do they expire?
ππ right?
I would love to know too. Except for travel purposes, what release happens if your passport expires? Are passports and National IDs the same thing?
ππ oh no, they arenβt.
Interesting thought – guess you are expired! There is much to do to keep all my licenses and IDs up to date – so running off to check the expiration on my passport!

I bet that our U.S. passports have expired. I need to check it out. In the U.S., your driver’s license or a government program ID card that has your photo on it works as your I.D.
Do you feel like less of a citizen with an expired ID? Hope you resolve it soon!
ππ sometimes, I do!
Interesting thoughts. I do often wonder why they expire. I guess a driver’s license in the US is to ensure that we are still fit and able to pass a vision test.

I don’t have one, but I am sure you can go down to have it re-newed!
ππ½ππΏ
I am not familiar with the National ID. It is hard to keep track of everything and expiration dates.
ππ½π©
I think it’s important to keep on top of our identification documents. This is also true for our passports! I always seem to wait until the last minute to renew my passport!

Having a national ID is vital but yes it does expire. I guess for the purpose of tracking people. Im not sure though.

What do you posses that do not expire? This is my thought right now.
ππ good question!
We don’t have these when I’m based thankfully. I do make sure my passport is up to date and renewed when needed though.
π
That’s quite an interesting thought to ponder though I think it’s just to keep things updated and to see if the person themselves are alive or active I guess.

I have never thought about it, but if it does expire you must need to visit the office to confirm your identity and to ask for the renewal.
ππ½ππΏ
I had no idea about this! Sometimes, it feels so overwhelming trying to keep track of things. I try to stay on top of everything, but sometimes I’m not so good at it. This post made me want to go double check all my important IDs now!

Everything has its own expiration and some don’t expire. Need to pay attention to something like National ID not expiring otherwise, it gets into trouble.
ππ½π©
Yeah, we do have something similar. But I never really focused on the expiration date of the card. You got me thinking and I will have to check it out.
ππ½
That means you need a new photo because your look may change π I did get a new ID a year ago and there are a lot to get used to, they are different with the machine at the custom

We have Adhar card but it doesn’t expire.
Aaahhhh….okay then!
Oh gosh we have passports and when they expire it is the BIGGESt pain!

Yes, you will lose your freedom to access some services such as carryout transactions with banks,…
It is count down on my end.
