For a while now, Iβve been thinking about the saying, βa stitch in time saves nineβ.
Itβs a very practical one, that ought to be our guiding star in the way we live.

For example, why do we always wait for the times to get very bad before we take the appropriate action that we should have taken in the first place?
You find that the nine stiches we want to make, canβt sufficiently cover up for our oversights and misdeeds, right?
My question again is;
βWhy do we always wait, when we can actually get something done right awayβ?

Always laughing, living, loving and thinking about food. I'm so deeply concerned about health, young people, food and psychology.
Reggae gets me on another level with the way I see life and I enjoy reading.
I try not to wait. It’s a struggle for me, but I’ve found when I procrastinate, everything is so much harder.

LOL I do that. I wait and then regret it the next day. So I’d been trying to do better with my priorities and lists of things to do. Plus, life always has something up its sleeves and I found that when you wait to do things it really gets more stressful. I don’t like feeling that way. Thus, trying to do better with my priorities!

This reminds me of my Grandfather. He was THE procrastinator. And his business suffered dearly for it. I learned from him to be on time and get things taken care of asap due to him. I was always so frustrated with him from an early age.

i used to be so good at being early for things. but now i am definitely a procrastinator and can’t say why lol. Do you have an answer?
ππ perhaps, I do.
I always try and get things done right away; otherwise, Murphy’s Law will kick me in the butt every time.

I think that we are afraid of the future. We wait because we are not sure about our actions.

Oh my gosh, it’s like I wrote this blog, ahahaha! That is my absolute mantra — not a stitch in time saves nine, but the one that goes why wait to take action when you can do it now?

This is what I have been telling my husband. We shouldn’t wait for things to get bad before we do something. As much as possible, we try to avoid it from happening.
