What goes in the minds of “Athletes In Transit”,
I wonder!
As they are sited in their transport for a sporting event
Are they usually quiet?
On the other hand, are they loud and chatty?

How do they prepare themselves for all those little tiny moments?
That led up to the main event.
Is there a particular set of rules to be followed by all athletes, when they are on the road?
If there is not any, is it okay if a set of them is created here and now?

While in transit,
What goes on in the minds of their coaches and minders?

Is it okay if the team coach makes a very important announcement as the team athletes are in transit?
To their sporting event, that is?
When the sporting event is done,
How are the athletes, then?

I wonder what goes on in the minds of the team coaches and minders
When in transit with their athletes!
Is it okay if the team coach makes a very important announcement as the team athletes are in transit?

I often wonder what people think when they travel from one place to the next. I’m sure it must be more than just thinking about the next game or job.

I have never been in this situation, since I am not an athlete. But I would bet the drive home is lively if the team wins, quiet if they lose.

I think we all wonder the same thing. I love watching documentaries about how they prepare too.

Hmmm…. I never thought about it! The only travel I did for sports was with one or two other girls in the car on the way to golf matches in high school. We just listened to music and chatted on the way there and back. On the way there, it would sometimes be about the course we were going to, but we usually kept the game out of it so we didn’t get too nervous.

Hmmm. Reading this makes me ponder about this as well. Im sure that thereβs pressure especially with their games coming up but maybe they also have mental exercises for that?

Never thought of this before. And my son was a college athlete!

Thinking whether coaches and athletes should travel in different vehicles.Have been there and lots of fun and energy more so when yo chances of winning are high. But once you lose, blame games and negative energy sets in.
Getting back with a win is the best feeling ever.Coach can’t control the fun moments

I’ve wondered before as well and what an interesting read indeed. Never had an athlete friend or been an athlete so I really don’t know much.

I too wonder what the sports people think while they are traveling. Are they serious or they just chill. I hope they are being used to with this traveling.

I have never thought about this. Just simply think that they are relaxing before or after the matches. Or they could be celebrating hard after a winning game.
