Infrastructural development. | Emotional development. | Whatβs your choice? |
More concrete buildings. | Learning how to regulate your emotions.
More airports. | Learning more about your emotions.
More schools. | Learning how to (re)direct our feelings.
Destroy ghettos and informal settlements. | Speak to myself better. |
Whatβs your pick, in each of these situations?
Please remember to put it all into context; both current and past!

Always laughing, living, loving and thinking about food. I'm so deeply concerned about health, young people, food and psychology.
Reggae gets me on another level with the way I see life and I enjoy reading.
I believe in balance. Yes, infrastructure is needed so that society can move and operate smoothly. However, emotional development is just as important. Itβs no point in making sure infrastructure to get to emotional support is quality, without the actual emotional support.

My Gen X generation never focused on emotional development. We were too busy trying to please baby boomers. I love everything the millennials are up to!!!

I think the optimal approach is a little of each. Self-improvement is made more possible when you’re in a thriving environment, and that’s more possible when you develop infrastructure.

It’s much like the debate between IQ, intelligence quotient, and EQ, emotional quotient. For most of history, the emphasis was on IQ, but at least here in the United States, the emphasis is shifting to the importance of EQ. It has been shown that EQ is, in fact, more important.

On the instructional side, definitely more highways, hospitals, and homes for the poor. On the emotional side, I want not to be so hard on myself and learn to love myself more.

This is such an intriguing topic! It’s fascinating to think about how we prioritize physical growth over emotional well-being. It got me thinking about the balance we need in society.

MMMMMM, on the Infrastructural development side I would say more senior /hospital and school development. On the emotional side, self-care but to be honest, this post topic really has me thinking now about both Infrastructural development vs. Emotional Development.!

This is an amazing and intriguing topic. It is good for a debate event because many people would want to talk about this, because of its own importance to all.

Both sides need to be considered and worked on. Many used to never worry about emotional development but things have changed so much.
