It’s been a year since I graduated from college
It’s been a year since I made up my mind to get married
It’s been a year since I walked on the streets of Dar-es-Salaam
It’s been a year since I last wore that dress
It’s been a year since I last spoke to a police officer
It’s been a year since….. yyeeaahhh yyyeeeaaahhhhh…. That list goes on and on
It won’t come to an end so easily

Look around….see how far you’ve come since that time, last year, when A,B,C,D,E,F,G happened in your life
I guess at that moment in time, you felt helpless and out of options
Your life seemed worthless and you felt better off dead and off this earth
Or not….you could have felt pretty good, actually, now that this was all over

Good for you. I like hearing people who changed their life. It’s been a year since our constructor said our apartment will be done and we could move out. It’s been a year since I got married 🙂 I think those two are the only one that comes to my mind. I was a year full of waiting and saving money to make our apartment the way we want it.

ITs been 2 years since I got into a bad car accident. But its just amazing how even it two years it feels like almost yesterday when the accident happened but I am grateful to be alive.
