For those that have been around long enough
I have this question for youβ¦.
Do you ever talk about the job?
And by that, I mean, the work that you do?
Do you ever want to talk about your job?
Do you wish to talk about the job with someone?
Do you not want to hear and say a thing about work?
Do you leave work, at work, where it is supposed to be?
Are there particular aspects of the job that you talk about?
Who do you talk about your job with?
Who do you hide what you do, from?
What makes your job so outstanding that you canβt resist talking about it, all the time?
Are the details of the work you do, top secrets?
Are the briefings of the work you do, for public consumption?
Who do you work with?
Do you work alone?
Do you enjoy the work you do?
Would you want a change in this work that you do?
When did you start on this job?
When are you starting on this job that you canβt stop talking about?
How do you want to do on this job?
What are your limitations on this job?
While you are at your job, is there something I can do for you?
While you are away from your job, is there anything I can do for you?
What is your job description?
Is it a favourable job description or is it one you can dismantle entirely?
If there an opportunity arose for you to speak with your superiors about your job, what is that one thing you would say to them?
If there never arose an opportunity for you to speak with your superiors about your job, what is that one thing you would say to them?
When you are ready to talk about these things and more, Iβll be right here!
Donβt hesitateβ¦.
You are so generously offering a listening ear;) Love it!
ππ thank you!
I enjoy my job greatly, and the work I do requires that I talk about it all the time. So yes, I talk about my work.

I live and breathe my job and work all round the clock. We run a holiday farm and are always on call. It’s great but demanding.
ππ good for you!
I talk about my job all the time. I always get questions when I tell people about my job. Being a Full-Time YouTuber and Food blogger is fun to talk about.
πππ it is!!!
That’s such a lot of questions to stay quiet and think about the current job!
Anw I’m doing freelance right now and feel great with the time it brings. Tell me if you need anything related to Digital Marketing or Product Development!

Ooohhhh….that is alright. I actually do!
sometimes all you need is a listening ear, good work
ππ thank you!
I have no problem talking about what I do for a living (marketing and writing), should the topic be brought up in conversation. However, I typically don’t just bring up the subject and ask other people about their jobs.
ππ aaahhhh! Good for you, Emily.
I love talking about my job when someone asking me about it, of course, and I am so grateful for having it and earning from it.
πππ good for you!
I love talking about my blogging whenever anyone will listen π Hope you do too!
πππ I will, I promise!!!
These are all such good questions!! I love hearing about others jobs but I feel like many donβt ask these questions!
πππ yyyeeeaaahhhh!!!
I usually talk my job to other people when they ask for it and they usually get interested which means more questions and it is fun to talk about because they also share their own experience
πππ aaahhhh…good for you!
This is a good perspective. Great post! Very relatable.
ππ thank you!
Yes I talk about my work all the time, I take such pride in what Iβve created all by myself. My work brings me tremendous joy and I love sharing it with others

Work – a job is such a big part of our lifes…so important to do what you love if you can x
ππ indeed!
I generally only talk about my work with those that understand what I do. And I work with one other person.
Aaaahhhhh….good for you!
I am self-employed, and it has its blessings and its curses. I just had a baby last week and literally never took a day off. Heβs in the NICU and trying to balance it all is a mess. But it would have been more of a mess if I worked a stereotypical 9-5 job?
Yyyeeeaaahhhhh….oh, congratulations Jess! ππ
I’m so blessed to have a job that I love. I’m my own boss, and it requires me to do a lot of communicating.

I like what I do for a living and I do talk about some of it with other people, and at home. But I limit what I say when I’m at work. There are too many things that can get you in trouble.
πππΏ
I do talk to others about it. I like also to discuss with other friends in the blogging community. Help each other when talking with each other.
πππΏ
I love the talking about job but only to few people who show interest. Mostly people like to talk about their stuff and it is always good to list.

Awesome work that everybody can relate to! Talking about our work with someone means that we loved and honor what we one is doing for a living. It’s definitely a great thing, for me!
πππΏ
I do talk about my job sometimes. I talk to the people in my house or my good friends. I have a love/hate relationship with my job.
πππΏ
I love talking about my job. In fact, I have given talks and seminars on how to start this career path years ago. π
πππΏ
I go to work and I come home. While I like my job, I don’t enjoy it and the only thing it adds to my life is the ability to pay my bills. I’m just working full time for the next few years until I can go elsewhere.

This post acts as a great therapy session! We spend a BIG chunk of our life doing jobs, and it is an essential part of our life. Your post reminds me, “No job is too big or too small.”
