Before 2024, no one in my life had ever mentioned something like, “I want to date somebody but I need to be pushed”!
It was simply mind-blowing and I occasionally laugh about it.

Maybe? I mean, dating takes a lot of effort and expense. There are probably people out there who’d rather just skip it.

Yes, I believe someone could be too lazy to date. My brother is 39 years old and has lived alone for the last 5 years. So now he doesn’t want to move a finger to date somebody. And I’m not talking about creating a family or building relationships.

Yea, I know a guy who’s almost 60 years. Never married doesn’t date. This guy is too frugal and lazy to date. Another guy I know is just too scared to date. He has trouble with rejection.

It can take a lot of effort, time and can be costly to date so I guess some people can’t be bothered with all that. it’s not something I’ve heard any one say before though.

It could in all honesty. The dating world can be a hassle sometimes. And taking that extra step to do all the things only to get dumped or hurt can really make you second guess putting in the effort to start

Now in days I’m sure dating is nowhere near like it was back when I was dating. I will say, I have never heard anyone mention this statement before about dating. I just think it takes a lot of time and effort and some people are just okay with not dating anyone.

Well, maybe mentally laziness for all the dating things as moments and what needs to be done. But never heard that as well. It’s all free will to go on a date with anyone.
