ABC: Just gonna grab a whiskey. Anybody want some?

ME!!!!

Alright then….let’s do this.

ABC: Class, please welcome Ray, Frankie, Jai, Will, Standish and Susan….the 6 person-crew for the darling of an action comedy you are about to fall in love with.

Disclaimer: I llloovvveeeeee Frankie not just because she kicks a lotta ‘ss but the cool face she always wears in all her works. Remember 22 Mile from 2018, huh?

When I watched the premiere of the show, I couldn’t help but wonder….who goes into the field, fresh from heartbreak of a person they loved and is expected to perform to their very best? See, this is why you have got to love Will and what he does on this show.

I mean, right after what happened in Paris, he goes to the embassy and while in the toilet, he calls his ex-partner. Working towards a rebound…I don’t know!

He is the kind and tall and badass agent on this special FBI taskforce created to take down very dangerous elements from the streets of the world. Keep in mind that the same taskforce we are talking about is one that was created by the worst of all criminals to track down or let’s say, take out the competition in the criminal world.

WHISKEY CAVALIER – “The Czech List” – The Whiskey team is sent to Prague for their first official mission where Will has to seduce the widow of a notorious shipping tycoon in order to gain access to a list of criminal clients, but Frankie doubts his ability to deceive a grieving woman. Back in New York, the bureau assigns the team a new liaison, who just so happens to be the last person Will wants to see, on “Whiskey Cavalier,” airing WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network. So, as far as the taskforce goes, Will has to do his work but he has to first get past the ruthlessness and effectiveness of Frankie. Frankie is one and no other….she holds the highest capture and kill rate at the CIA! Does it get any better than that for you? Not me, certainly.

Ray is Will’s former partner in the field….having worked together on different missions throughout the world….he is now tasked with leading this taskforce right at the desk. A lot of things get to happen along the way and their friendship gets broken real badly. Let’s see where that goes.

Jai is who you can call, “Mr. Most Reliable” while on the job, anywhere and anytime. He knows exactly what tools you will need to get your job done and when you will need them.

Of course, spy-work can’t get easier if there is no tech wiz on the team, right? That is where Standish comes in! This dude is being looked for by all grab teams that you can think of because of what he can do when he lays his fingers on a computer of any kind. It’s best to have him somewhere you can easily watch what he is doing….just in case he starts to get any ideas, if you know what I mean.

And finally, Susan….affectionately known as Suz! She is the emotionally-trained best of them all. She is facilitated by the Bureau to say what is needed or required in particular and all kinds of situations just so the job gets done with as much ease as possible.

WHISKEY CAVALIER – “Pilot” – Following an emotional breakup, tough but tender FBI super-agent Will Chase (code name: “Whiskey Cavalier”) is assigned to work with badass CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (code name: “Fiery Tribune”). Together, they must lead an inter-agency team of flawed, funny and heroic spies who periodically save the world – and each other – while navigating the rocky roads of friendship, romance and office politics, on the season premiere of “Whiskey Cavalier,” airing WEDNESDAY, FEB. 27 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network. (ABC/Larry D. Horricks)
ANA ORTIZ

Expect lots of romance, energy in all forms you can imagine, lots of laughter, bullets, kicks and fists…the whole spy-package as you may well know it.

It’s a pity that we were denied another shot of our favourite whiskey!
