I say
No more conferences for me
Till what we discussed in the last conference is actually put into practice or at least,
A fraction of it!
No more conferences
I say!
Till each and every story that came out of the last conference is re-told out aloud, exactly like it was
Not leaving out even a speck of dust!
No more conferences
For me
I sayβ¦.
Till the speakers brought on these conferences donβt make up a panel made of men only aka a βmanelβ!
SHIT!!!
No more conferences
For me, I say
Till they are all here in my home-yard and not in some foreign land that caused all this chaos that I am living in today
No more conferences
For me
I say!
Till I actually see and know more young people are speaking for themselves and not old and middle-aged people are speaking βon their behalfβ
No more conferences
For me, I say
Till alcohol is illegalized all over the world!
I mean, why should some people be allowed to use it in the name of culture and others aren’t?
No more conferences
For me
Till I see homeless people attend the same conference that I am!
I say!
No more conferences
For me,
Till every human being has had something to eat!
No more conferences, for me
Till we all demand better
Of everything we have
And actually get better
I am so tired of being taken for granted!
I say!
Blog nzuri sana
ππ thank you.
I say
No more conferences until even the softest whisper is heard!

The thing about conference is that they teach you so much about “being successful” but you just pay then to talk one or two hours. And you’re not building up anything. You just build them them up. So I get you I wont get in any more conference either just because they are starting to get annoying. If they aren’t helping anyone they are just a waist of time and money.
ππ I will hold you accountable.
Fortunately my job did not put me and does not put me in front of the world of confereze but wow explained everything very well!

you’ve put together a thought provoking post. i wonder if the conferences might be helpful because they open one’s eyes to something new or different?
In most times, they really aren’t!
It definitely depends on the company. I have been in some amazing conferences that did do great things and some really bad ones that were a waste of everyone’s time.
ππ good for you!
Quite an interesting post and sometimes it depends on that company some are good while some are bad.
ππ well, if you say so!
It’s an interesting point of view. I guess we all have our own perspective or lens on different social issues.

No more conference. My cousin used to have anxiety attack while she was forced to go to those conferences.
Aaaahhhh….that is truly sad. How is he doing now?
It definitely depends on the conference for me. I love your take on this.
Aaaahhhhh….alright then, Shannon! If you say so.
Conferences are often a lot of talk and not much action. But it depends on the person. I was just at a conference for the volunteer position I hold at the school and I learned so much from it! But it was a learning conference, so that may be the difference.

I LOVE this! What good is a lot of talk if nothing ever changes? It’s just a way to fool yourself into thinking you did something.

Such a nice piece here. but I guess we all interpret words in our own way. No more conferences for me until we have world peace and until corona gets over.

Quite an intriguing post! I believe conferences do work for few. Through conferences one gets a chance to explore more thoughts while some of them are complete waste of time

This is interesting, I hope a lot of people have different things to say about this. I haven’t been to so many conference.

This is very interesting, with so many different opinions on the matter. Conferences are mostly just talk

Your posts are so conscientious and thoughtful lately. There are many good points here, something to touch everyone. For me, it’s the food to eat. I have a very soft spot for people going hungry.

It’s actually good to know a point of view from you about conference. Yes, we need more practices instead of keep talking.

I agree with you! I loved this post.
