I would like you to do me a favour…
I want you to draw your understanding of food.

Food is quite a big thing to describe
Or, even to understand.
That is because of our different cultures and lives.

What you call healthy food could be very unhealthy food to somebody else.
What you call a delicacy could be disgusting to somebody else!

Could it be that you have a favourite food?
Could it be that you eat whatever food that comes your way?

Is there a particular food you would want to βinventβ?
Is there a particular combination of foods you would like to put together as one?

I want you to think along those lines
And come up with a drawing of how you understand food, alright?
I want you to draw your understanding of food.

Food is a really interesting thing. I’m always fascinated but what one culture thinks is delicious vs what another finds tasty. Or vice versa.

It is interesting to think that we all have a different idea when we think about food. That’s based on so many things besides just our preferences but our culture, our lifestyle, and even our financial situation.
πππΏ
You are what you eat as the famous saying says but it’s interesting how we have different preferences and thinking when it comes to food. What’s healthy food in your country might not be in another place.
πππΏ
Food is my favorite thing on earth. Your post and the photos inspire me to cook right away.
ππππΏ
I’ve only really began to fall back in love with food lately, and that also means learning to enjoy it again after a long battle.
πππΏπ
Food is a really interesting and broad topic to talk about. We have different taste or like on foods. I really enjoy reading this article!
ππππΏ
Food is a beautiful thing to many .Some use it to live, others to relieve stress, others for general happiness but all in all it has the ability to influence your health and well bring.
Just eat right

Food is in a class of its own. It can heal you, feed you, nourish you and educate you. I like to think of food as an cultural aphrodisiac. I love it!
ππππΏ
The Food Explora in me loves to enjoy food from different cultures. Food is one of the single elements that helps us learn about the people, country, or geographic location. The food photos in this blog are very appealing. Thanks, for sharing.

the pictures of the good looks so delicious
πππΏ
I love food! And I have enjoyed cooking with my son over the last couple of years. Sometimes I want to join culinary college and learn something unique about food!
πππΏ
I love food, especially trying new foods when we travel. And the weirder the flavor combinations – the better!
πππΏ
Thereβs nothing I wonβt try ! Total foodie at heart. Being able to travel and try cuisines from various cultures is an amazing experience !
πππΏ
It’s great to try food, even though I don’t understand a lot about food when traveling but this is interesting. Thank you for sharing!

My oldest son was in Kung Fu for years (he still volunteers to teach it sometimes). There was one time when we all went out to dinner to a place where the table spun around non-stop and you could try dishes from all over the world. It created quite the memory actually. Food definitely helps define a culture.

This is such a thought-provoking post indeed. Yes, food has so much power over us, but they can also be empowering. Some people eat when they are sad and they then feel soothed, empowered and rejuvenated thanks to what they have eaten. I love noodles, and greasy fried food Is definitely my guilty pleasure haha!
πππΏ
Good points on this article! All food isnβt made for everyone! Depends on your family history and DNA
πππΏ
This is very thought provoking. As a frequent traveler, I’ve definitely learned that so many cultures express themselves via their food offerings.
πππΏ
I love trying new food! When we visit new places, I always try to get something that I’ve never had before.
πππΏ
Yes I love this! As someone who loves traveling to different countries, it is always so interesting to see how dishes change from country to country. I also find it interesting how foods in one country (like gluten carbs) in the US leave me feeling bloated, yet gluten carbs in Italy leave me feeling fine.

Oooo, what great food choices. They look very tasty.
ππππΏππΏ
It’s interesting to hear about different culture’s food.
ππππΏππΏ
Food is so multifaceted! It nourishes us, forms bonds, brings joy, connects us with our cultures, family and friends. It truly is an incredible thing! Thank you for making us think more deeply about that!
ππππΏππΏ
Food can be a touchy subject – what’s great for one person can be gag-inducing for another. It’s very interesting to read about and even watch. I love food shows!
πππΏ
This is certainly a very interesting way to look at food. However I must say I cannot draw
ππ thatβs okay too.
The foods’ images in your post catch all of my attention.
πππΏ
I have never thought so deeply about this topic before. It’s sooo good.
