All over the world,
It is said that we are felling 41,917,809 trees every day!

Where we used to have a small growth of shrub and big plant giving us a good shade from the sun,
We now either have a building or stone pavers.
I hope we can take shelter from the scorching sun under this building or stone pavers.

Is it that our needs for trees outlast the number of tree seedlings that we have?
Is it that we no longer have the space on ground to plant these trees?
Is it that we donβt have the water we need to water these seedlings?

Always laughing, living, loving and thinking about food. I'm so deeply concerned about health, young people, food and psychology.
Reggae gets me on another level with the way I see life and I enjoy reading.
I think people are more concerned with how many buildings they can stuff into a space of how much cops they can grow than they are with trees. That’s my take.
We as a human race really need to remember that this planet can’t support our continual abuse of it. One day soon, our kids or grandkids are going to reap the consequences of the actions we’re taking today.
The biggest reason to plant trees is they take co2 out of the atmosphere. This helps to rebalance the co2. It’s a great way to easily help.

That’s a good idea. Because when the last tree dies the last man also dies.

I hear you! In summer you can be sweltering hot on pavers, walk under a tree and youβre instantly cool. I planted so many trees in my garden now – ripped up pavers, planted trees and grass. The neighbours think Iβm mad π
ππ crazy girl!
Bravo! Such important points made in this article. No, I don’t think we get the shade or peace under pavers compared to trees. I’m inspired to return my yard to a more natural state.

It is sad how many trees we tear down every year which is why it is nice when you hear about people who are out there planting lots of trees to help combat that!

There are many organizations in the United States that plant trees and they are always looking for volunteers to help. But there are still more trees removed than planted. We need to do better.

Beautifully written article (as always!). I hope to find a organization I can donate to for planting more beautiful trees.

Such a good initiative to plant trees today! We should start caring for our environment as it is our home.
Indeed, Nikki!
I love your passion for doing good in the world. I think too many of us take this planet and everything that lives on it for granted.

I love this article. It is short, and simple yet educates everyone on how important to plant trees and how beneficial it is to us.
Thank you!
Trees are oxygen. So the more trees we have, the better for the plant. I do not understand why people cut down trees.
