I want to direct your eyes and focus on this new television series called “East New York”, though.

When you try to read a preamble on it from Wikipedia, you will see the following,

 

“Pilot” – Amanda Warren stars as Deputy Inspector Regina Haywood, the newly promoted boss of the 74th Precinct in East New York – a working-class neighborhood on the edge of Brooklyn in the midst of social upheaval and the early seeds of gentrification. With family ties to the area, Haywood is determined to deploy creative methods to protect her beloved community with the help of her officers and detectives. But first, she has the daunting task of getting them on board, as some are skeptical of her promotion, and others resist the changes she is desperate to make. There is no lie in there.

She is doing all that and more like

Facing her troubling past and how she came to join the police service,

Looking into cases and crimes that were earlier “neglected” by investigating officers,

Asking and demanding for more detectives at her precinct!

Then this might be your show.

If you are looking for motivation to do more than what has been done by those that came before you,

You will love this television show, I promise you.

I have only watched the first two episodes of East New York and downloaded the third.

I love it a lot, so far.
