Self-love
Self-care
Putting you first….yourself first before anything
Treat yourself
Pamper yourself
Spoil yourself
Me time
Call it what you want
I prefer calling it self-pampering
Away from everybody
That includes your family, friends and all other acquaintances
In some small corner of the world where you only matter and no one else
Forget the world…somebody once told me that it is good for you and anyways, the world will find it’s own way without you at that time
Do it as often as you like
However small or big the cost may be
Whatever you feel like
Take your time while at it…no rush
Ps. Don’t kill somebody now, eeh
I propose you limit your use of your smartphone or the internet
Inform somebody on your intentions or where exactly you are headed to…for security purposes, you know
Best of luck.
It’s important to pamper oneself. Also, it’s good to rest and refresh our minds. It helps in our mental health.
???? thank you!
There have been more than a number of times over the years where I have been guilty of not practicing self-care. It can be so simple to do and so many of us don’t and should.
Yyyeeaahhhhh…we keep on making excuses after excuses and suffer when all is done and said. ???
I love this. It’s so easy to forget to take care of ourselves as we try to meet all the responsibilities of life. BUT it is so important.
???? then, let’s get to it!
So true, we all need to treat ourselves more often – I love the beach walks, but with blogging the most relaxing and re-energizing thing is probably limiting smartphone or the internet!
Keeping the internet and gadgets off is the best way….no distractions or temptations, Anna! ???
It’s so important to take time for yourself to recharge. Good idea to turn the phone and electronics off! It’s good to take a break from that as well!
????
I love this whole post! It is so important to practice self care! Some days, I feel like I need to pencil it in when time is low.
Yyyeeaahhhhh…I relate, Amy! ????
Great idea to write it down!
I always try to not use the phone, too much time wasted. Thanks for sharing.
Hehe….you are welcome, Marcos! ??
I am very lucky because I get to do this all the time when I travel. It’s so nice to just be on your own in nature. Glad you are taking good care of yourself!
Aaawww….lucky you, Viktoria! ??
I feel like sometimes self-pampering can get out of hand. People use it as an excuse to OVER pamper and still focus on responsibilities.
Hehe….that’s true! It’s still very important, though. ??
I don’t get the time to self pamper often. Down time is nice once in awhile though.
??? aaahhhh….that’s so sad, Rosey!
I have been toying with the idea of renting a place on the beach with just me for a weekend. No kids. No husband. No phone. Nothing. Just me. I think I’ll book that hotel now. You’ve given me the jolt I needed.
??? yyyaayyyyy! I am glad to hear this.
Love the word shift of self-pampering. Everyone likes the feel of being pampered and it should be done more often. Great reminder to take time to indulge in yourself.
????
Another great post on something that is super important! Pampering for me comes down to being in nature, doing photography, or having a nice hot shower!
?? aaahhhh….good for you, Ray!
Self care is so key! I think it’s important to pamper!
?? indeed! It is…..so much.
Self-love is extremely important. How can we love and treat people well when we don’t take care of ourselves?
???? thank you, Murray!
Іt’s hard to come bʏ well-informed people on this subject,
but you seem like you know what you’re talҝing about!
Thanks
Hehe….you are welcome. I simply speak from my heart!
You could definitely see your enthusiasm in the work you write. The world hopes for more passionate writers like you who aren’t afraid to say how they believe. Always go after your heart.
Thank you, Carlotta!
