Pacing up and down
But, it’s down we are looking
At the flashing and blinking lights of colour

In our palms and closed off, in our ears
We are so NOT the type to read newspapers from the shelves or the newsstands or desks
Or sit down, listen to somebody, past 3 minutes of our time, unless if they keep us engaged, on our fingers and toes
Or think for long, without having our fingers, palms and hands itch us

In class, school, office, home, in our bedrooms, on the street, at a party…name it
Anything pretty, attractive, funky and that fits, in the palm of our hands gets to pass
