I don’t remember my first time swimming in a lake, as I was so young (probably even a baby) and have been regularly swimming in lakes since then. However, my first time at the ocean was the Atlantic in 2017. I remember feeling so filled with bliss and peace, that I wanted to sit on the rocky shoreline of Peggy’s Cove and watch the waves roll in all day.
